Batch Barcode Generator

Need dozens of barcodes instead of just one? Paste a list of product codes, part numbers, or links — one item per line — pick a format, and this tool generates a barcode for every single line, previews them all, and packages the whole set into a single ZIP file. Choose from QR Code, any 2D format like PDF417, Data Matrix, or Aztec Code, or any 1D format like Code 128, UPC/EAN, Code 39, or ITF-14. For a single one-off barcode, use that format's dedicated generator instead, and once your batch is printed, spot-check a few with the 2D Barcode Reader.

UPC-A, EAN-13, EAN-8, and ITF-14 automatically calculate a check digit if you leave it off each line.

How to Use the Batch Barcode Generator

  1. Paste or type your list into the text box — one link, product code, or piece of text per line.
  2. Choose which barcode format to use for the entire batch, plus a download scale and file type.
  3. Click Generate Barcodes to preview every code in the batch.
  4. Download an individual code with its own Download button, or click Download All as ZIP to get every code in one file.

Common Uses for Batch Barcodes

  • Inventory and asset tags — a unique Data Matrix code per part number or asset ID.
  • Shipping and logistics labels — a PDF417 code per shipment or manifest entry.
  • Event tickets — a distinct Aztec Code per attendee or seat.
  • Marketing and product links — a QR code per product page, coupon, or campaign link.
  • Retail product runs — a UPC-A or EAN-13 code per SKU across a new product line.
  • Warehouse and case labelsCode 128 for individual items or ITF-14 for full shipping cartons.

Tips

One format per batch

All the codes in a single run use the same format. If you need a mix — say, QR codes for marketing and Data Matrix for internal inventory — run the generator once for each format.

File naming

Each file is named with its position in the list followed by a short version of its content, like 03-sku-10024.png, so files stay in order and are easy to match back to your original list.

Some lines may fail to encode

Each format has its own data limits and rules. If a line is too long or contains characters the chosen format can't handle, that one item is skipped in the preview with a short error note, while the rest of the batch still generates normally.

Batch size limit

Up to 200 lines are processed at once to keep your browser responsive. For a larger batch, split your list and run the generator more than once.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I mix formats in one batch?

Not in a single run — pick one format per batch, then run the generator again with a different format selected if you need more than one type.

Is there a limit to how many barcodes I can generate?

The tool processes up to 200 lines per batch to keep things fast and your browser responsive. Run it again for additional batches.

Can I get both PNG and SVG for the same batch?

Yes, choose "Both" in the Download File Type setting and the ZIP will include both file types for every code.

What happens if a line is too long for the chosen format?

That item is skipped with a short error note in its preview card, and everything else in the batch still generates and downloads normally.

Is any of my list uploaded anywhere?

No. Every barcode and the final ZIP file are built entirely in your browser — nothing is sent to a server.
