¶About this maze generator

Mazes generated using this tool are created using a recursive backtracking algorithm where all cells are visited, removing walls between cells as it goes. The result is a perfect maze, one with exactly one solution, and no loops. An entrance and exit are randomly placed in the corners of the maze.

There's only one setting, the number of columns. Rows are calculated from the number of rows to fill as much of the page as possible. Fewer columns make an easier maze, more columns make for a more difficult maze. You can choose anything between 5 and 100 columns.

Can I share the mazes?

Certainly. Everybody loves mazes, so feel free to share with your friends and family. All we ask is that you don't sell the mazes or remove our website address from the footer.
