This tool accepts all image formats supported by your browser's <canvas> element:
| Format | Notes |
|---|---|
| JPEG / JPG | The most common photo format; excellent compression |
| PNG | Lossless; ideal for screenshots, graphics, and transparency |
| WebP | Modern format; smaller files than JPEG or PNG |
| GIF | Animated GIFs are converted using the first frame only |
| BMP | Uncompressed bitmap; large files |
| AVIF | Next-generation format; excellent compression |
All formats are converted to JPEG inside the PDF at 92% quality. This provides a good balance between output file size and visual quality.
When set to a standard paper size (A4, Letter, etc.), each image is placed on a new page of that size. Use the Image fit option to control how the image fills the page:
Set Page size to "Match image size" to create a PDF where each page is exactly the same dimensions as the source image — useful for creating PDFs for digital use where you don't want any borders.
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. All conversion happens locally in your browser using JavaScript. Your images are never sent to any server.
Can I reorder the pages?
Yes — drag the image thumbnails into the order you want before clicking Generate PDF.
Can I remove an image after adding it?
Yes — click the × button on any thumbnail to remove it from the list.
How many images can I add?
There is no fixed limit. Very large numbers of high-resolution images may slow down the browser since all processing is done in memory. For most use cases of up to 100 images, it works smoothly.
What quality is the output PDF?
Images are embedded as JPEG at 92% quality. For the highest possible quality, choose "Prepress" orientation and a low margin. For the smallest file size, consider compressing the images before adding them.
