Supports .heic and .heif files — view multiple photos at once
.heic / .heif files onto the page.HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container) is Apple's default photo format since iOS 11. While iPhones and Macs open HEIC natively, Windows, most Linux desktops, and most web browsers do not support HEIC without additional software or codec packs.
This tool uses a WebAssembly decoder to read the HEIC format entirely inside your browser, so you can view your iPhone photos on any computer without installing anything.
Do my photos get uploaded anywhere?
No. All decoding happens locally in your browser using WebAssembly. Your photos never leave your device.
Can I view Live Photos (HEIC with embedded video)?
This viewer displays the still image portion of Live Photos. The video component of a Live Photo is stored separately as a .mov file and is not part of the .heic file itself.
Why does decoding take a few seconds?
HEIC files use advanced compression. Decoding them in a browser via WebAssembly takes slightly longer than a native app, especially for high-resolution images. Most photos decode in 1–3 seconds.
Can I download the photos after viewing?
Yes — each photo card has a Download PNG button that saves a lossless copy of the decoded image to your device.
